Rosewater & Glycerin by Heritage store
What can I say about rosewater? Natural, smells amazing, so lightweight, and convenient. I use it in the morning and throughout the day when my skin is looking a little dehydrated, or if I just need something that smells good. It’s hydrating, without being at all heavy, and no residue, makeup goes on easy after. You can also use it as a makeup setting spray. Spray it any- and everywhere, hair, skin, face (my favorite), or use as an all-natural perfume. Only three ingredients: water, glycerin, and rosewater. The scent of roses is also a natural mood enhancer. So, you’ve got all natural aromatherapy, to boot.
2. High-Potency Night-A-Mins by origins
I was never a big night cream person, but I am a huge fan of exfoliation, huge. I read years ago that everyone needs a chemical and a granular exfoliant. This is true. Chemical sounds like a dirty word in terms of beauty products, but what it means really, is a product with enzymes like aloe or papaya that naturally clears away dead skin cells without the need for scrubbing. But you need the scrubbing too. (Gently, and not necessarily both at once.) This one uses Alpha Hydroxy Acids from grapes and sugar beets to smooth skin overnight. Quick tip: Super pigmented beets and beet juice are amazing for brightening skin from the inside out too. Try it sometime, just don’t get it on your clothes. Or you can just grab this night cream with all these juicy extracts and save actual juicing for another time.
3. Ginzing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer by Origins
Seriously weightless, and just an all around perfect day cream, energizing, stimulating, and smells like something you want to wake up to in the morning. Contains the skin- and circulation-boosting power of ginseng and coffee, and leaves me ready to leave the house with no makeup. Not that that ever happens, but I feel like I could.
4. soakii Epsom salts
The possibilities are really endless with 19 pounds of Epsom salts in your bathroom, but like, in the best way. I, for one, use them every night with a few drops of essential oil, eucalyptus is popular a popular choice for me right now. Not really a relaxing night time oil, but it’ll clear and soothe your sinuses with an invigorating smell. I love that. This salt in particular dissolves really easily and leaves places like feet and elbows smoother than any other brand I’ve used before. Five stars for SOAKII.

5. Exfoliating Detox Body Soap with Arabica Coffee + Cinnamon by the Seaweed Bath co.
This soap, by far, beats any shaving cream I’ve ever used. It’s nice and slick, smoothing, tightening, exfoliating, moisturizing, and no residue, plus detoxifying—for a little under $3 this soap really does it all. It’s one of select few products I’m subscribed to on Amazon. Alongside things I know I’ll happily burn through like coconut oil and vegan protein shakes. So that’s saying something. A little over a year with this find, and I’m now a Seaweed Bath Co. loyalist, plus their body scrub is amazing too.
6. Pumpkin & Papaya Natural Enzyme Masque by Skin2Spirit
An indie vegan beauty find, for sure. This is a skin lightening mask and I use it weekly, at least. It goes on more like a cream than a mask. I’ve definitely left it on for hours while fixing up my house on weekends or just lazily perusing the internet in bed, while drinking way too much coffee. So I never thought too much about skin lightening before, because I’m pretty fair to begin with—but it’s not so much about lightening your complexion but making spots and signs of aging diminish. This mask aims to brightening up your skin from dullness that can accumulate. Brightening skin and making it look much smoother is exactly what it does best. Another chemical exfoliant, (see Beauty Find #2 for details) this mask clears up dead skin cells, sans scrubbing, leaving skin clear, bright, and moisturized.

7. No Puffery by Origins
Big Origins fan here, this eye de-puffer is kind of addicting. It has a little metal ball at the end and you can roll it over for a gentle message on tired eyes, and I love that. Plus, it’s cooling and hydrating at the same time. I’ve dealt with under-eye bags since my early 20’s, and most eye treatments are either time consuming, smelly, or don’t work. This is a quick, easy way to brighten up your eyes and get on with life.
8. Natural & Fluoride-free Remineralizing Toothpaste by Uncle Harry’s Natural Products
Not technically a beauty product. I’ve veered more into the hygiene category here. But what’s prettier than a healthy smile? So, I’m a little obsessed with dental care, and I’ll try anything, oil pulling, essential oil gum messages, gum tightening gels, (yes, it’s a thing). I’ve got a whole Tupperware full of different natural toothpastes, and this one is, by far, is my favorite. (There’s a second place.) The number one complaint I’ve heard is that it’s too strong, but that’s what I like about it. Cleaning your teeth, gums, and tongue with colloidal silver and powerful essential oils, and adding minerals back into your teeth with bentonite clay and calcium citrate is just about the healthiest way I can think to start your day.

9. Healing Clay by Asutra
Asutra makes a really beautiful line of American made products focusing on simplicity and clean ingredients. Also, isn’t this is worth buying for just the cute package it comes in? But seriously, having a good bentonite clay around is just a good idea in general. Clay masks are known for drawing out impurities and also carry trace minerals to replenish skin. So, it’s basically a two for one here. This leaves skin smoother, cleaner looking, can even help prevent breakouts, and reduce the appearance of blackheads.

10. Oil of Oregano by Garden of Life
Again, not exactly a beauty product here, but definitely beautifying from the inside out. Taken internally, this can give skin a clean, rosy glow and naturally add a little pigment to cheeks and lips. I also notice clearer eyes, and sinuses. So you’ll feel better, and look better too. To use: Drop 3 drops of oregano oil to 1/2 cup of water and drink in the morning as a tonic. You can also swish it around like a mouthwash, but in this case you’ll want to spit it out. Note that it’s very spicy, so you’ll want it diluted in water for sure. Lots of water.

11. Gya Labs Essential Oils
I love oils. More so than they make you look pretty. They make you feel pretty. I’ve been adding a few drops to my skin after lotion of whatever concoction I motivates me in the morning in leu of perfume, right now eucalyptus and this ylang ylang above are running favorites. Once you get a little familiar with your scents you’ll know what you’re in the mood for. Gya labs makes an awesome line, these two above are very fragrant and floral, the Gya Vanilla is especially strong when I added to my homemade products.

12. Essential Oils by Vitruvi
More of a complex, earthy line of essential oils with Vitruvi. Plus super cute, and minimal packaging. When I opened the cedar wood it is almost exactly like being in a sauna or the smell of a fresh cedar chest. You might not initially think that you want to walk around smelling like a cedar chest all day. But trust me, it’s an amazing and comforting smell. The fragrance on these Vitruvi oils is so natural and clean. They definitely make the perfect diffuser smells. Nothing overpowering, just clean, authentic scents for your home. Also if you’re in the market, they make a really cute diffuser from this line too. I don’t have it personally, but it’s beautiful.
13. Rosebud Salve by Smith’s
Known as a lip balm, but secretly kind of a cure-all for skin issues. I had a cut on my finger recently from a blackberry bush and I used it to help seal it over after reading you can use it on minor burns and cuts. Totally worth having on hand for little accidents, especially on sensitive areas like your hands and face. You can use this to make a quick, little cuticle massage on-the-go, plus treat burns, and chapped lips, all at once.
Not featured but worth a mention
Botanical Natural Sunscreen SPF 50 by Australian Gold - More like lotion than sunscreen, smells great, and I actually want to use it. I’m notoriously always a little red around my arms, chest, and back. This redness was gone in just a few days. I chose the higher SPF 50, because I’m desperate for clear skin. It has shea butter, a very dense moisturizer that stays put and keeps skin hydrated all day. This one is extra non-greasy, stays put (read: won’t end up in your eyes), is waterproof, and again, smells amazing. Super highly recommend.
Rose Kombucha Flower Powered Face Wash by Pacifica — I’ve bought this over and over, smoothing, moisturizing and a little gooey. It’s perfect for when I want to use my fascia massager for an at home facial. Smells like flowers, natural, affordable, and a high antioxidant content. Plus, just an all around super moisturizing face wash.
Very Emollient Coconut Rescue Body Lotion by Alba Botanica — This is been a mainstay in my bathroom for the better part of a decade, smells great and keeps skin hydrated, and glowy all day. Plus, it’s natural, has moisturizing shea butter, and super affordable.
Vegan Teeth Whitening Pen by Cali White — I use this weekly on account of the amount of coffee I drink: works instantly, vegan, a bargain, no sensitivity, no trays. Need I say more?

Razor Blades by Billie - Recently moved over from another home-delivery razor brand geared toward men, and am in love with these. Such an improvement over more sensitive areas. It’s really moisturizing, has a gooey lotion strip, and the blade is the perfect shape for women’s bodies. Come to think of it, I haven’t once nicked myself with these.
